MAGNI 580

Fastener Coating

ÁñÁ«appµ¼º½Èë¿Ú 580 is a chrome-free duplex coating that combines an inorganic dark gray zinc-rich basecoat with an organic topcoat. Typically applied to externally threaded fasteners, stampings and other types of hardware, ÁñÁ«appµ¼º½Èë¿Ú 580 is engineered for use on parts exposed to high amounts of ultraviolet (UV) rays and other harsh outdoor elements. ÁñÁ«appµ¼º½Èë¿Ú 580’s two-coat system is applied via dip-spin or spray application methods and provides superior corrosion protection and cost-effectiveness.

  • Excellent bimetallic corrosion resistance
  • Alleviates hydrogen embrittlement concerns
  • Repeatable torque tension characteristics during assembly as a result of friction modifiers integrated into topcoat
  • Resistant to acids and alkalis, and automotive fuels and fluids
  • RoHS, WEEE and ELV compliant
