The ÁñÁ«appµ¼º½Èë¿Ú 100 Series is a family of advanced corrosion protection coatings designed to deliver OEM-level performance while significantly reducing the environmental impact of the coating process for brake rotors, drums, calipers, and other automotive components.

Unlike many traditional protective coatings that require energy-intensive curing ovens, many 100 Series systems are air dry or low-temperature cure, allowing manufacturers to eliminate or significantly reduce oven energy consumption. This results in a lower carbon footprint, reduced production line footprint, and improved manufacturing efficiency.

The 100 Series includes both barrier-type and zinc-rich sacrificial corrosion protection systems, available in black, gray, and silver finishes. Formulations are offered as solvent-reducible, water-reducible, and waterborne systems, providing flexible application options while supporting evolving environmental and regulatory requirements.

Originally introduced to the automotive industry in 1994, ÁñÁ«appµ¼º½Èë¿Ú’s 100 Series coatings are widely used on brake rotors, drums, and calipers. These coatings provide 96 to 720 hours salt spray performance per ASTM B117 and are typically applied in one or two layers.

When used on brake rotors, the coating naturally releases from the swept area during the first several brake stops, ensuring predictable green brake performance without scoring, debris, or noise while protecting non-swept areas from corrosion.

Today, more than 100 million brake discs and drums are coated each year using ÁñÁ«appµ¼º½Èë¿Ú systems.
